Weapons and Armor in Fur Infection LITE VR
Shop tools that die with you, Light and Heavy Vests in the world, and routes that survive map edits.
Weapons and armor decide whether your Fur Infection LITE VR life lasts thirty seconds or three useful fights. HopeStar Studio’s [UPD] Fur Infection LITE VR+ keeps the pressure simple: shop melee is one-life, Light Vest and Heavy Vest are world pickups, and Infected do not solve problems by buying your katana. This guide is for place 125466848790058—not Kiwi Furinfection, not every Outbreak shelf video—though HopeStar armor clips still teach the right habits.
Pair with How to Play as Human for fight rhythm and Controls for swing binds.
Shop tools versus world pickups
Shop tools are the bats, axes, katanas, pans, and occasional specialty melee you buy with round cash in or near the Safe Zone. In HopeStar infection rulesets those purchases are one-life. Die, and you are back to fists or a free starter until you buy again.
World pickups are the armor pieces—and sometimes special weapons—sitting on shelves, crates, or side rooms. The two names you must memorize:
- Light Vest — earlier bulk, shorter detour, fewer goo traps on average
- Heavy Vest — bigger commitment, often contested, sometimes parked beside dangerous liquids
If a YouTube route 404s against the live map, take one ghost life, note the new shelf, and move on. Patch titles with [UPD] exist for a reason. For shop-versus-world spawn habits and live routing, see Weapon Locations. For optional head armor versus vest priority, see Helmets.
Recommended buy order (Human)
- Free or cheapest melee — something that swings this spawn. A bat-tier tool already punishes a bad grab.
- Light Vest — if it is on the path. Skip a distant Heavy while naked.
- Better melee — longer reach or a heavier hit once you survive one fight.
- Heavy Vest — only with a clear approach or a teammate on the door.
- Situational extras — heals or niche tools after you are armed and armored.
This order matches how good lobbies actually gear. Greed builds look great in inventory screenshots and terrible on the death feed.
How to evaluate a melee
Ask four questions:
- Can I swing it this life without bankrupt cash?
- Does it have enough reach for the halls I actually fight in?
- Can I respect cooldown with this animation? (See the yellow bar note on Controls.)
- Am I buying it to ego-duel a morph in the open? If yes, buy cheaper and hold a corner instead.
Long melee wins open rooms when you keep cooldown clean. Short melee wins closets and door frames when you refuse to spam. Neither wins if you shop mid-hallway.
Light Vest playbook
- Take it early even if it is “not the best armor.”
- Approach from the side if goo shares the room.
- After pickup, leave—do not AFK flex on the shelf prompt.
- Light Vest plus cheap bat beats fists plus a dream shopping list.
Heavy Vest playbook
- Scout audio first; morphs camp Heavy rooms on purpose.
- Bring a friend when the doorway is a kill funnel.
- If two squads contest, rotate to a side objective instead of a fist circus.
- Once Heavy, play cooler—not greedier. You are now the lobby’s favorite grab target.
What Infected care about
You cannot shop a katana as a morph in the usual ruleset. You can still get hit by one. Forms with poor turn speed lose to long melee. Forms that jump the camera lose to a calm bat on cooldown. If a Human wears Heavy Vest, do not honor-duel them—grab from behind or wait for a teammate. Details: How to Play as Infected.
Puddles are the Infected shop. Do not trade a working grab form for a loud cosmetic goo in a room two Humans are watching. See Mutations.
Healing and extras
Beginner-friendly routing puts heals after a swing and a vest. A med item in fists-only hands just funds the morph who converts you. If your patch includes helmets, potions, or event tools, treat them as spice—not the main course—unless a current event page says otherwise.
Routing advice that survives map edits
- Leave spawn with a swing, not with a five-room shopping list.
- Vest rooms that sit next to goo are traps. Take the vest from the side, not through the puddle.
- Cash on the corpse run should repurchase the minimum viable kit, not the vanity blade.
- When an armor video timestamp no longer matches, walk the facility once as a ghost and rewrite your notes. This wiki keeps durable rules here and updates named rooms when layouts truly change.
VR looting tips
On VR+, pickup prompts and shop panels need a steady laser. Recenter before a Heavy room. Do not lean your whole torso into goo while grabbing a vest highlight. Short controlled motions apply to looting as much as swinging.
Practice route (one life)
- Buy cheapest melee in Safe Zone.
- Hit the nearest Light Vest without touching liquid.
- Take one cooldown-disciplined fight.
- Only then contest Heavy—or reset if the door audio is loud.
Repeat until the order feels boring. Boring kits win rounds.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for Fur Infection LITE VR on Roblox.
Are shop weapons permanent in Fur Infection LITE VR?
No. In the usual HopeStar ruleset shop melee is one-life—die and you must buy again. Gamepasses, if any, are the exception called out in-game.
Where do Light and Heavy Vests come from?
They are world pickups on shelves and side rooms, not infinite Safe Zone stacks. Route Light first; contest Heavy when the path is clear.
Should Infected buy weapons?
Not in the normal ruleset. Morphs use grabs and goo forms. Humans use the shop. See How to Play as Infected.
What should I buy first?
The cheapest reliable melee, then a Light Vest on your path. Upgrade reach after you survive a fight.
Why does the armor video not match my map?
Layouts shift with [UPD] patches. Use the buy-order habits here, then scout new shelves on a ghost life and adjust.
